Which Goddess lurks in your soul?

Aphrodite

Someone has love on the brain! And it’s no wonder, as Aphrodite is drawn to those who take great personal enjoyment out of spreading love, which includes making love! Aphrodite is the Greek Goddess of love eternal, lust, sex, beauty and infatuation. People who have her as a “houseguest” in their souls usually have had many lovers with more lined up and waiting. You find no sin in what you do, only the satisfaction in fleshy pleasure…..and rightfully so as your beauty stuns even the coldest of men. You may secretly dream of that one special lover who ignites a burning passion deep within you; someone who will be your forever mate. Perhaps he is lying next to you now!

And this news:

Scott Summers Appearing in Wolverine?
Source: Retroman, A1ant
May 6, 2008

Scooper 'Retroman' posted on the Superhero Hype! message boards a discovery that an agency has Australian actor Tim Pocock listed as playing Scott Summers (Cyclops) in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

'A1ant' then followed-up with the agency who confirmed the casting. "Yes, that information is correct. He was cast as the younger Scott Summers," they said.

Directed by Gavin Hood, the May 1, 2009 Fox release stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, Will.i.am, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Henney and Lynn Collins.

Well, that's...unexpected. And kind of unpleasant to anyone who thinks of Cyk as James Marsden period. I know posters over on SHH are having kittens about the news because he'd be too young, he shouldn't be in Logan's story (though it's very obviously not exclusively his story. Jeez, you'd think some of these people'd actually have read Mutant X...) We went through the same thing with gambit. Obviously, there's some part of it that takes place in the present with X-Men like Remy and Scott in it. Shrug. I'm kinda excited about it.

Peace, Ghani

I think there'll probably be a chunk that takes place "present day"; that'd be my guess. Which is slightly off-putting for a Weapon X movie, but I guess they wanted to tie it into the movie franchise. The really curious thing is, unless they want to completely ignore X-3, uh, Cyke's dead in the movie!verse! o_0

I think it's kind of adding insult to injury with the way they treated James Marsden for following Bryan Singer into the Superman Returns movie. They killed Cyclops because they were pissed off about that, I know it. Even though I don't care for Ole-One-Eye, he deserved a better send-off than that.

Oh, without a doubt! It was like suddenly, 'Okay, now he's dead.' Wait, what, when?! Apparently, floating glasses mean DEATH! There's just a world of hate in me involving the Jean storyline in that movie. Makes Wolvie a pussy, Jean a bore and Scott, well, unceremoniously dead.

Then again, I can't really expect anything more from Rat-face as he has an open contempt for the characters. I'll never forget the interview where he laughed--LAUGHED--at the fact that fans wanted Rogue to be a major star of the film. i thought that was a really horrid slap to Anna Paquin, too.
