From [livejournal.com profile] roguedemonhunte:

1. How about a brief introduction?

You know me, you love me!

2. What got you into role playing?

For me, it was playing MMORPGs. Obviously, I'd been writing fanfic before, well, even before the internet or I even knew what the term meant, and playing massive multiplayer online role playing games gave me the opportunity to create characters, have them interact with others, it opened up a sort of performing aspect to writing, which was extremely appealing as it's something else I love to do. It wasn't until I started making character profiles on MySpace for fun that I got pulled into a real game though.

3. What kind of games do you tend to be drawn to?

Fantasy and Sci-Fi. I mean, I know that even the ones about NASCAR are fantasy to a certain degree but I'm talking about real fantasy, even if it's mixed with real world. I don't usually like games based on movies or TV shows unless they're kind of separated from the main characters thereof; it's just one of my quirks, I prefer all original character games.

Basically, I'm drawn to the creativity of the participants and creators, and their level of talent.

4. Which one of your muses is a fan favorite and why do you think people think so?

Holy cow, what a difficult question! Morgana Le Fay, because she's kind of free wheeling in a way, on the surface, rubbing her hands together in diabolical glee like a typical villain but really something complex deep down inside. Granted, and I feel I must say this here, it's other players who bring these things out in the character; my muses are nothing without the muses of others! Will Scarlett, because, again, he plays so well off of others' strengths and weaknesses.

Back in my MySpace days, Cassie Hughes and Lady Larna, respectively, tended to be huge hits and I still get friending requests for both of them.

5. What post/thread are you most proud of?

Back in the day, I would have said Cassie meets Lucifer; still a piece of writing I'm incredibly proud of! Recently, it would have to be my very first Fractured Realms post, when Anika met Rodney. And I'm still extremely proud of any Diallo and Morgana interaction, and their defeat of the warlock was really well executed, I thought! I don't write action easily, but I thought that really flowed well!

6. Do you find writing easy? Hard? What aspects do you struggle with?

Hard if the character doesn't feel like talking; sometimes incredibly easy. I tend to struggle when I write in general, it never comes easily for me, so I suppose getting a tag done in a reasonable amount of time is the aspect I struggle most with. and I always think of something clever or witty I should have written about an hour after posting! That makes me cross!

7. Do you tend to use the same PB again and again? Is the character different each time, or the same one tweaked slightly to for each game?

Yes, I do use a few quite a lot, but the characters are always extremely different, though inspired by the PB's own personality. I never choose a PB just from a face; I have to know the actor or actress, be familiar with their speech style, their body language, because all of that's a big part of my writing. So I suppose in a way they are alike because they're like the actors, but I wouldn't say that Tiger Lily, for instance, is exactly the same as Linda Littletrees.

8. Write a few sentences on your favorite muse or pairing.

I loved Cassie/Constantine because it was just so odd, and yet it was one of those things that happened so organically. That's the only way I can ship my characters; I can never have a prefab romance, it just doesn't work out as anyone who has read the star crossed lovers can tell you. They never end up together!

Anika/Rodney because it was the first time Jade and I realized we have this odd chemistry when we write together and all our characters just fall in together, whether it's best friendship or soul mate material! and Jack/Bella is made of win because it came out of nowhere; she was a character I was hardly using, one I wanted to exercise and I wanted to welcome Muse so I kind of threw her at Jack! Kismet, as they say!

9. Do you have any big pet peeves when it comes to RP?

Biggest? No staying power, players who lose interest too quickly. Three sentence replies that don't move a conversation along. Now, I'm guilty of that last one sometimes, but not all the time; I'm talking about serial one-paragraphers. People who use characters from movies or TV shows but use different PBs instead of the actors who actually play them.

10. Are you guilty of any of the pet peeves you hate?

Not to the point--I hope!--where I begin to annoy others. I certainly try not to!

11. What was the first game you joined? Fandom, Original, or Celeb?

I'll say original because it really was a mishmash of fandoms; I was playing a character from HEX while I met characters from X-Men, Constantine, Ghost Rider and even The Prophecy!

12. Name your favorite muse and what it is about them that you love to write.

All my muses are my babies; to pick just one would be sacrilege! There's a reason I love writing each and every one of them, or they wouldn't exist!

13. What would you call your writing style?

Um, detailed? Specific? Dense?! Bwahahahaha!

14. Do you have a set group of people you tend to RP with? If so, what is it about them that makes you stick around?

Talent, babes! And that synchronizing of personalities that happens that lets you know this is the right group for you!

15. Name one thing/character you'd love to write/pick up but have been too afraid or shy to do.

Honeys, there's nothing I'm too shy to do!

That said, I'd be hesitant to play Arthur or Merlin because they've both been built up so much by other characters I've created that I don't think they could ever live up to it.

16. Do you feel uncomfortable taking criticism? Or worse, do you have the dreaded bloated ego?

No, not uncomfortable, if it's warranted and constructive. I hate nitpickers. Unless I'm worrying and offending someone else, making their experience less somehow, I'll just ignore it truthfully.

17. When you write, is there anything that helps?

Music. Music is a big inspiration and I might find the perfect emotion I need in the lyrics of a song, which is why my character journals are so filled with lyrics!

18. What inspires you?

Life! It's this big, wacky experience we all go through, and there are so many different things to talk about, to explore, to write about. People inspire me, with their individualistic quirks, their senses of humor. And literature inspires me, aspiring to make something as great as the things I like to read.

19. Lastly, how would you sum up your RP experiences and you as a writer?

It's helped me write more quickly, instead of mulling over a paragraph for days, and I hope and think it's matured me as a writer. It's certainly helped me writing relationships; it's so much more interesting to have another personality to write against, one who pushes and pulls at unexpected times and really challenges sometimes when you need it!

20. Tag some friends, because they'll hate you for it.

If you want to have a go, have at it!

Peace, Ghani
