Computer just crashed. Was totally just sitting there, innocently watching Merlin and then it was just...no more. Lost everything, all the stuff I've been meaning to back up but have been too lazy to. Seriously, it gave no warning so, well... :-/

I'm using my sister's laptop for the time being but with absolutely no extra money to even contemplate getting the PC fixed, it's gonna be a while until I'm back on a regular routine.

I'm still a little bit in shock, honestly, because it happened so suddenly! I've got to teach my sister not to say things like, 'I can't believe that old thing's still working!' which she actually did just last night. Sigh. All my beautiful icons! WHHHHHHY?

I'm definitely hoping so, and that they'll try to recover a few things for me even if they have to replace the hard drive.

It was just so sudden, that's what's left me kind of reeling, you know? One minute, everything's fine and then...BAM!

Thanks. Poopie. I know shit happens and all that, but why oh why does it always seem to happen at the most inconvenient of times?!

Unfortunately, my computer knowledgeable friend moved away this past March so I will actually have to pay for someone to look at it which means that that might be in a couple of months since we're quite brokeable at the mo. Wallet-ly challenged? Dough deprived? XP

Hugs you! Sucks when this happens. Maybe for Christmas you can have your sister buy you one of those external hard drives. The only thing you will need is to remember to use it.
