Stuffy stuff-stuff

So, after a nasty bout with insomnia, I've learned a valuable lesson: Not only can I not take two of my sleeping pills together, which results in extreme depression and mood swings, but I also can't take them over extended periods of time. For the above reason but also because I'm now suffering from meds withdrawal, which really sucks ass. The other day, I was so anxious, I thought I was going to bounce off the walls like a pinball. Or kill my brother, one or t'other. but then again, that latter one is most of the time so maybe I can't blame it on my meds. My stomach's been wreaking havoc on me ass well as a result and I've gotten in this weird sleep pattern where, ever other night, I go out like a light, and in the nights between, I'm sleeping maybe three hours at most.

So, enough with that fun stuff. thanks to [livejournal.com profile] writeangel1, I've got a shiny new obsession: Being Human. I haven't watched the third episode yet (all there is so far), but I'm planning to write up a whole every view of my love for this show as soon as I do, complete with illustrations!

And, Jade! I finally got to watch Leverage! Kickass, is all I can say! *Loves Timothy Hutton!*

Peace, Ghani

Hugs, thank you! :-D

It is so addictive, it's insane! the characters, that's what got to me; all of them are so interesting and so complex! I love Annie, George is so adorable and, well, to be completely superficial, Mitchell's sooo freaking hot! I went into it going, 'Ehhh, vampires.' Really, not my favoritest thing. He Mitchell's just... he's just awesome, lol!

ikr? He's not the typical vampire. He's just so.....happy. And when he goes dark its like whoa!, kinda forgot he was a vamp! They are so awesome &hearts

My sister saw just the beginning of episode one, with Mitchell looking at the memorial, and asked me later if the vampire was "as pretentious as he looked." And I was like, "No, actually, he's kinda... bouncy!" That's what I love about him: aside from that really dark part of himself, he seems to really be enjoying himself! And he's a bit of a goof, too, which is great. He needs to stop beating himself up about Lauren though, srsly, because really, after a certain point, so not his problem.

But then again, the vampires in general aren't typical. I love that Herrick is the main powerful vampire and not this suave, sexy and almost omnipotent creature is so much more interesting than what other shows and vampire stuff are doing.

I also so nailed it that Owen killed Annie, from the minute he appeared onscreen! Sometimes I tell my sister I should put money on things like these! xP

They are the ultimate OT3! So much love! ♥

*I luv ur icon *

I don't think you would have like the original Mitchell too much. He was pretty stereotypical - dark, brooding, with a perfect i-have-been-around-for-one-hundred-years look. I did like the pilot but the changes made were for the best, re-working the characters and changing the actors made Being Human something completely diff. than what is/has been on tv recently. (yes, I am slightly obsessed. This will hold me other until merlin and dr. who return)

Owen and his eyebrows were suspicious from the start! (gotta admit i did like him in ep1) but in ep2 I called it. The writers werent exactly subtle with the Tully/Annie scene.

I have the pilot DLed for future watching, especially since Toby Whithouse has said it's canon and, well, I'm obsessed enough to totally feel the need to see it, how it all began! But, yeah, I got that feeling. And I'm so happy with Lenora! I'm such a Doctor who geek because my first reaction was, 'Eeeeeeee! Cheen from Gridlock!' (Oh god and then i realized Tully was Dean Lennox Kelly and fell out of my chair!) She's such a good actress and she's so cute as Annie. I need to get used to the idea of other!Annie and other!Mitchell before I attempt the pilot, I think! xD

It was Owen's story about Annie taking a wrong fall down the steps that made me suspicious; I thought, 'Oh yeah, you pushed her.' I think I've watched too many mysteries! the boyfriend's always the first suspect! LOL!
