Bye bye, blonde locks!

I got my hair cut! And it looks gorgeous! If you've seen pictures of me in the past couple of years (click on any of my holiday tags for this journal) you know my hair was massively long and quickly getting out of hand. I'd started to sit on it! And it was actually starting to give me panic attacks having it falling on me all the time so it was time for a change. The woman at Master Cuts, my sister's usual stylist, couldn't believe how much hair she took off, even after she cut my ponytail off (to donate to charity wig maker Locks of Love!)



We did trim the tree after we took the pics. Not exactly foresight but... meh. I'm the main attraction! ;-)








There's no way it's ever going to be this styled again but hopefully it'll fall into a nice coif when it's washed and dried as usual!


Oh noes, it's The Godfather! No, actually, that did not belong to an ex-horse, but in fact is my former hair! xP I won't be sleeping with the fishes anytime soon.

Oh my gosh, I love it! You're absolutely adorable, it suits you so well!

I loved getting my hair cut and I still have two braids that I meant to donate sitting around in storage somewhere. Apparently mine is ridiculously short now according to people who knew me when it was waist length. Isn't the difference in weight amazing? I loved that especially, going from long to short.

Eeeeee, thank you! God, the weight is incredible, so is actually being able to feel air and cool on my neck and back. I've gotten only positive comments on it so far, but I'm waiting for the, "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" that will eventually come, LOL! It was fun having the long hair but it's so much nicer having the short, heh!
