Bye bye, blonde locks!

I got my hair cut! And it looks gorgeous! If you've seen pictures of me in the past couple of years (click on any of my holiday tags for this journal) you know my hair was massively long and quickly getting out of hand. I'd started to sit on it! And it was actually starting to give me panic attacks having it falling on me all the time so it was time for a change. The woman at Master Cuts, my sister's usual stylist, couldn't believe how much hair she took off, even after she cut my ponytail off (to donate to charity wig maker Locks of Love!)



We did trim the tree after we took the pics. Not exactly foresight but... meh. I'm the main attraction! ;-)








There's no way it's ever going to be this styled again but hopefully it'll fall into a nice coif when it's washed and dried as usual!


Oh noes, it's The Godfather! No, actually, that did not belong to an ex-horse, but in fact is my former hair! xP I won't be sleeping with the fishes anytime soon.

Ahahaha, truly? No.

And it reminded me of an ogling encounter I had at the supermarket right after I got my hair cut. I was walking down the aisle to meet Ann and this guy I passed was, I mean, completely, blatantly staring. And it wasn't flattering. So I reach Ann and she goes, "That guy turned to stare at us because we're signing." And I told her, "No, that guy turned to give me the sleazy eyeball because he was doing that while I walked by him. [Using my most unflattering stereotypical redneck accent] 'Women like it when you stare at 'em; make 'em feel all purty-like.' No, it really doesn't. It makes me think about restraining orders and locking all the doors and windows tonight." xP
