Oh my God! "Christmas Shoes!" That song is so LULZY, and then I feel like I'm going to hell for laughing at it, but it's just so chock full of misery, it's comical! I always laugh when he croons, "That's what Christmas is all about," and I turned to my brother, outraged and upset, and said, "How is this possibly what Christmas is all about?!" In one of his more brilliant moment, he actually answered, "Um, imprudent purchases?" Bwahahahahahaha!
Yeah, according to that song, Christmas = Shopping + Jesus. Which just PISSES ME THE HELL OFF! Because to commercialize misery and a belief in God at the same time just makes me want to... Let's just say I get why Jesus tossed some tables around once upon a time, because it is ridiculous and awful. *huffs and gets off the soapbox*
