I'd almost given up! I searched weeks in advance of the opening and hadn't found anything--some of the Marvel communities haven't even updated their interests with it yet! Which is just as well 'cos y'all are much more fun that most of the posters in other comms! :-D
No offense to the other Marvel communities on LJ, but I looked at the majority of them and just found a lot of nit-picky people that I could tell I wouldn't get alone with. Which is why I'm striving to make ghostriderfans fun and lighthearted. Fandoms need to be fun, otherwise it feels like work. O_o
Don't I know it! Fans aren't really what I consider to be, well, fans nowadays. A poster point blank told me on a forum I admin on that that places like that were for people to piss and moan about the stuff they supposedly like. And here I thought it was to, ya know, share the excitement of something you, well, like! Guess that's why I don't enjoy most fan forums out there; I've been using 'em wrong all this time :-/
BUT, ghostriderfans is fantastically different, yays! :-D
