Halloween pics!

Here I am, cursing our CAHndy. Yup, me and my sister earned ourselves a reputation that night, we're the creepy adults who got waaay too into it. Scared a couple of kids, delighted most of them, weirded them out, all of them! Too bad we're moving now! Come take a look into our world.

Oooh, scary! It's a member of the legion of undead holding a fake jack o'lantern. A very elegant legion of the undead. My sister affectionately refered to me as the 'Regency zombie' ;-p Extreme boobage was happening!

Creepy Carrie, creepy Carrie! My sister had fun spooking out the kids that came to the door though she often had to explain who Carrie actually was ("She goes to the prom and gets blood dumped on her." 'Ooh, sounds like fun!')

Yup, Ann was totally hamming it up and loving it!

"Me want brains! And to sit in a parlor and delicately sip tea from a china cup. Me want Jane Austen's brains!"

Even legions of the undead need to remember their manners!

Guesses on my sister's costume ranged from 'Whoa, you're a zombie bride!' to 'Oh, you got all shot!' LOL! My favorite was the kid though, I could just hear him as my sister answered the door in her spooooky Halloween voice: "Trick or tr... WHOA!"

She's coming to get you!

Our soon to be former house as gussied up as we were!

Guess who?
Fabulous pics, and the captions had me howling! You do make the loveliest undead Regency belle. The lavender gown matched your dark undereye circles to perfection---clever you!
The house looks great! Who takes such good care of the yard? Do they want a job?
Love,
You-know-who ( I bet!)
Re: Guess who?
You know, I actually wanted to get a nice shade of lilac for my eyes but ended up with a suberb make-up job by Ann in brown and sickly green. That gown, BTW, makes an appearence in E&tW2, at the end as Frances' Halloween ball gown!
Oy, the lawn! Yeah, they do a good job with it but they're generally confused as to how much they usually charged and are horrendous pains in the arses ;-P
Glad to have ya around here, dahling! Mwah!

Nice dress!!! Pretty color! I am so jealous; I always wanted a Regency gown with gloves and all. But weren't you afraid to get your blood and guts makeup all over it? :) Adorable pics, especially the Cursing the Cahndy one. Thanks for sharing.
(Oh, here are mine and Melinda's halloween pics, not very many, as I said, I was sick!)

I should just post the link on my own LJ, I suppose.

(And believe me, you don't look preggers at all! Now I could send you a picture where I looked so pregnant that, trying to get off of ther ground where I was sitting, a woman gave me a lift up and a wink and told me she'd "been there herself!" Bwahahaha! Okay, didn't think it was so funny at the time but now... LOL!)
The dress was actually machine washable so now worries there. It was sheer luck that I found it: A seamstress was getting rid of her personal collection and it happened to be right in my size! It was meant to be, I s'pose! :-D
Now my sister's fake blood was another story; I didn't want her to touch me, heh! She did get some on the door handing out CAHndy which really freaked some of the later kids out! Bwahahah!

OMG, I BET it wasn't funny then! I've always heard that you should never assume a woman is pregnant unless you can see the child coming out of her. I think that is good advice, actually!
I just got Melinda up here. She loves your dress as well, and she also said to tell you she loves your "Special Hell" icon. She's all a Firefly freak now. (I like it OK, but she's definitely gone all focused.)

Heh, it was during my Ro obsession days, though, IIRC, I wore a priestess costume, like Louise Fletcher (God help me, I can't remember the characters name. I am very, very ashamed cos I friggin' LOVED DS9!!!). It was impressive nonetheless!
Melinda had several Bajoran earrings. I got the "second-best" one to borrow. ;)
Hehe, mine had two dangly chains and these pretty crystals... I'm pretty sure it's still buried away in one of my jewelry boxes but I haven't worn it for ages!
And we went all over town looking for Bajoran noses including the ST Experience (because she'd lost hers in the move), and couldn't find any, so we drew them on. Later the 501st guys told us which store carries them so we'll know in future.
Good to know! The prosthetic was waaay too big for me when I dressed up so it looked hilarious but I do know, if you're ever in the Florida area, there is a fantastic store in Orlando for Trek costuming/gaming that has all sorts of different Bajoran noses! LOL!
I was thinking we just looked like hos, but a few people came up to us and said "Bajor for Bajorans" so I guess we passed at least.
Oh, I think you guys looked fantastic!!! :-D

Bwahahahah, VERY! Though, to be fair, the woman did help me up off the ground which I was having a bit of a struggle with. I just know never, ever to wear my belt like that again: http://members.aol.com/sheadog/Fair/JeanFair.jpg
Er, yikes! =-O

Bwahaha, I actually chose one of my FF icons just for you! *g* That's my favorite! Let's see what I can do about Jayne... Don't have many of him 'cept my token 'Jaylee' (yes, I'm a Jayne/Kaylee 'shipper. I'm perverse! LOL!) one. Heeheehee!

That dress is niiice!! Great color! very Arwen. I understand about the tie, though... having the two loops around the middle would sort of create an illusion.
Melinda is also very Kaylee/Jayne; she was River/Jayne at first until she realized that there was no chemistry. They were just sort of the "two left over."
