More reviews!

Nine: Okay, so I liked it. Really liked it, actually. Sue me. Daniel Day Lewis was his usual unusual self (he's an alien, I swear! Or... some sort of strange primordial force!) The musical numbers were gorgeously done, Marion Cotillard was touching and beautiful and owned my favorite number, the angry strip tease! An underrated movie with an undeservedly bad reputation. Granted, I don't really care for Fellini, so I didn't really care whether or not it was like him. (If you're going to use symbolism, isn't it antithetical to use it like a blunt instrument? I'm looking at you, too, Kurosawa!)

Terminator Salvation: ZOMG, someone made a movie out of Terminator fanfic! Seriously, I didn't dislike it, but... didn't it seem like the premise of a fanfic plot to anyone else? Especially in the fact that it centers on an OC who touches and saves the life of every iconic, major character, gets a bitchin' gorgeous girlfriend, is half-awesomely kickass robot who overcomes his programming or destiny or whatever and makes the ultimate sacrifice at the end? I liked Marcus, but found that I kept wanting more of Kyle, and John and Kate. Especially Kyle because, jeez, Anton Yelchin is awesome, peeps!

True Blood 3x02: Okay, so they probably should have done a two hour premiere last week, because it was with this episode, like the other two seasons, that I felt this season really hitting its stride and beginning. Flashback! Eric and Godric were awesome and badass--glad to see Godric back, if only for a small scene--Sookie and Eric continue to have wicked chemistry, and their scenes were sexy and interesting and wonderful! I was... worried about the King of Mississippi but he turned out well, especially his mortal boyfriend, who was hilarious, being all into it, and being fussy and funny. Jessica and Hoyt continue to break me. And I love Franklin!

Lafayette/Jesus for reals! Is it just me, though, or is Alfre Woodard far too glamorous and subdued to be crazy-ass Ruby Jean? I mean, I was looking for something that went above and beyond Lettie Mae's worst behavior and she just... didn't deliver. I still look forward to seeing more of her though! Because she's just awesome! And, very best part? Ahahahaha, Bill setting Lorena on fire. My sister: "Did that... really just happen?! *Fit of hysterical laughter!*" Next week, Alcide!

Peace, Ghani

Kyle Reese is what made that entire movie worthwhile. Seriously. I can see you agree. I heard someone say once, I can't recall who, that when everyone saw Sam Worthington in Terminator Salvation, they thought he was so incredible to be able to play a soulless robot so convincingly. Then they saw Avatar and Clash of the Titans and realized... that's just Worthington trying desperately to find an emotion and failing. :p Sorry, I had to! Because I couldn't agree more with that assessment of his "talent".

Ahahaha, this is true. Though... I haven't subjected myself to anything else he's done just that (you know I'm waiting to see "Clash of the Titans"), but... you can just tell with someone like him. One trick pony, so to speak. Sighs.

Kyle was SO MUCH WIN! Seriously, the entire movie should have just been him. I don't know if, from the commercials, I was even aware that the characters I cared about were... secondary. Big mistake, in my opinion; maybe one of the reasons it didn't do better. Hey, I actually found myself waiting for Batman John to come back on screen and I haven't really cared about one of his performances in a while!
