From the ever mahvelous
iansmomesq:
1. List your top 10 celebrity crushes. (Aah, you mean the ones Iwant to fu... admire and respect dearly.)
2. Put all of them in order of your lust for admire them. (Nope, can't do it! So,
iansmomesq had the right idea--alphabetization! Catalogued lust, if you will. I'd like to see that Dewey Decimal System, snicker.)
3. Say why you lust for admire them and which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
4. Supply photos for said people.
5. Tag five people. Not tagging anyone--you want it, it's yours! :-)

Andrew, Naveen. Elegant, talented and with a wickedly snarky sense of humor, Sayid caught my eye instantly over any of the other LOST characters. It's the charisma Naveen brought to the role that had me falling for him.

Bale, Christian. My oldest continuous crush! The guy is just so intense, and so amazingly focused from such a young age! Take Empire of the Sun--one of the most incredible performances from a kid actor ever! People name it one of those adult-like kid performances, but I disagree; it's totally him, totally natural and all around astounding. Twas Newsies that first caught my attention, singing and dancing--yay! He just gets better looking as he ages!

Bana, Eric. Oh, yeah, I'm all about the Bana! He's gorgeous, has the body of a God, such a great sense of humor (I love his comedy!) and great dramatic weight a sincerity. He won my heart as Bruce Banner in The Hulk, and I love that someone like him can be such a geek at heart, too!

Cage, Nicolas. Now, y'all knew this one was, erm, coming! The man is intense, and he's so unafraid of challenges and risks. And look at those baby blues--oy! And you can tell, there's something in those eyes, you can see he's going slightly mental, and it's fabulous. Plus, the guy is just bangin' physically! Balding, you say? I say, more freakin' testosterone for me! And he's got gorgeous wrists, a must for me! He's been around, lurking in the background all my life, I can name about 10-15 movies of his I saw before I really started grooving on him, but it was Ghost Rider that finally put me over the Cage lust edge! Third in a row, by the by, who have played superheroes. What is up with that?

Crowe, Russell. Soulful, beautiful, hard, sweet; it's pretty difficult to beat Russell. From his dramatic roles to more lighthearted fare to his tuneful music, he's shown more diversity than even I could have ever dreamed, watching The Quick and the Dead, he'd be able to pull off!

Eccleston, Christopher. Eccles! Talk about intense, the man could melt steel with his glare. I first noticed him in things like The Others--how he can portray such sadness, so much emotion, all in a performance with no dailogue is amazing!--and 28 Days Later, but it wasn't until he was named the ninth Doctor Who that my Eccles lust was born! You may have only lasted a season, but you're one of the greatest--and definitely the sexiest--Doctors ever, Chris!

Eckhart, Aaron. AKA Mr. Sex. With that big, square jaw, he almost looks like a ridiculous cartoon caricature, like Dudley Do-Right, and his smile is one of the warmest, broadest and most sincere I've seen. Which is not to undermine his dramatic capabilities and talents. I first fell in love with him as one of my favorite fictional characters of all time, Lee Blanchard in the movie adaptation of The Black Dahlia, where he just goes for so many risks, and is so uninhibited in just playing this larger than life guy. And he sticks with the indie movies, ya gotta love him for supporting that! Though, like Eric Bana, I have to wonder if his ridiculous good looks actually do him a disservice in this regard, getting parts in indies.

Fillion, Nathan. One day the world will discover what we Browncoats have known for quite a few years--Nathan's a star! His fantastic sense of humor, I think, does not only not betray his dramatic gravitas, but actually enhances his eomtional scenes. As Mal Raynold in Firefly/Serenity, he showed his acting chops as well as his trademark charm. He's Hollywood's best kept secret at the moment, in my opinion.

Gruffudd, Ioan. Horatio Hornblower, the part seemed almost created for him; I've rarely seen an actor fit a character as well as Ioan does Horatio, hardly ever seen someone come across as that charismatic, that forceful. He adds amazing nuance and depth, and when he finds that part that suits him, he's like magic on the screen!

Phoenix, Joaquin. Holy moly, where to start? His acting pedigree is solid--River himself kept trying to tell the world what a fabulous actor his kid brother was, sadly it was only after the older's death that we'd get to see Joaquin's full extent of talent. Gladiator, he was electric! He just bowled me--and my entire family!--over as Commodus, and his range has proven to be as truly stunning as he is.
And because I can't possible name everyone, because I'm a slut, here are some runners up:

Hedlund, Garrett. Yes, truly, Ghani just needs a bit o' sex sometimes!

McAvoy, James

McConaughey, Matthew

Ramamurthy, Sendhil
And, not pictured, to varying degrees: Greg Wise, Jamie Bamber, Sam West, Robert Lindsay (this now concludes tha Hornblower portion of the runners up list), Josh Lucas, Josh Holloway, Josh Hartnett (and this now concludes the Josh portion of the runners up list), Damien Lewis, Thomas Jane, the Wilson brothers--Owen and Luke, Matthew Fox, Ralph Fiennes, Oded Fehr, Paul Bettany, David Thewlis, Henry Ian Cusick, Joel Hodgson, Geoffrey Rush, Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jensen Ackles, James and Oliver Phelps, Viggo Mortensen, Karl Urban, Brett Anderson, John Taylor (Of Duran Duran fame), John Barrowman, Jake Weber, Steven Weber, young Harrison Ford (the only reason he didn't make it onto the main list is because he did not grow old graciously) and many more! (It's like Ghani's greatest hits!)
Peace, Ghani
