jadeblood and Valentine from Mirrormask by muselives. Some of these questions were a little... weird, so I've replaced them with others from a different version of the same meme that's been going around on my flist:
Tony Stark:
1.) Do you like this character?
Oh, hell yes! Almost in spite of himself, Tony's just an extremely likable guy, even past the persona of charm he puts out; that's like camouflage in my opinion, something to hide what's really there, the deeper side. The one he drinks to try to ignore, that just breaks anyone's heart! Plus, he's a genius and what does he do with it? Builds a big freaking flying war machine (ahem, excuse the reference) like a little kid would, but for very adult reasons! I guess there's always that dichotomy there between adult and child, the cynic and the naivety.
2.) What name(s) do you call this character?
Don't really have any nicknames for him as such, though I do refer rather crudely to a part of his anatomy as "Tony's baloney pony" because of a Marvel Civil War parody!
3. Is there any popular fanon about this character that you forget isn’t actually canon?
Snort, canon is so huge in this case that I bet if I could think of it, someone could find some source in which is was canon!
4.) What song do you associate with this character?
"Clumsy" by Our Lady Peace
5. Is there anything you’d change about this character’s arc?
I'd give him a steady girlfriend, a steadying influence. Because it seems like Tony's always in need of companionship, someone just to be with him, and guide him when he gets a little lost. They do, at intervals, give it to him in the comics, but then they're usually just discarded after this or that writer's departure. Of course, in the movies, it'd have to be Pepper!
6.) From all of the titles that feature this character, what other character do you think makes a good pairing with this character?
In the movie series, it's Tony/Pepper all the way, though I have yet to see Natasha in action! In the comics, Invincible Iron Man convinced me of Tony/Maya.
7.) What would you want to say to this character?
The answer to your problems isn't at the bottom of that bottle. I think you know that, and there's the temptation to try it again, but it's always going to be the same and it's going to destroy you. I think you know that, too, and there's a part that doesn't care. But others do. Listen to that.
8.) What do you want to do with this character?
Ahahahahahahahahahahah! Guess.
Now for Valentine:
1.) Do you like this character?
I've been given very difficult male character with this meme! Yes, I like Valentine; deep down, I think he's really a sweet guy who's trying to convince himself he's otherwise. Sure he has some unfortunate... slips, but he makes it right in the end.
2.) What name(s) do you call this character?
A very important man!
3. Is there any popular fanon about this character that you forget isn’t actually canon?
His real world counterpart and Helena fall helplessly in love, perform in the circus and live happily ever after. Wait, that's not canon? Only because the movie ends too soon!
4.) What song do you associate with this character?
"You Get Me" by Michelle Branch
And "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" by Elton John because Valentine/Tower = OTP!
5. Is there anything you’d change about this character’s arc?
Nope. I think it works perfectly, even his betrayals of Helena, because it helps him grow and move along on his own journey.

Oh, it's Valentine/Helena all the way!

We often confuse what we wish for with what is.
