Was at Barnes & Nobles yesterday and caught a sight of this one on the best sellers shelf...

Um... Yeah. You cannot tell me that a publisher of romance fiction would not have seen the severe double entendre in that! Me and my sister were even making jokes about that happening "at the climax *snicker*"! C'mon! I know it's trying to be wordplay to begin with but that is seriously messed up! Wish I'd thought of it! Bwahahahaha! XD

In other book-related news, my sister had quite the shock when she picked up one of Greg Maguire's childrens' novels and discovered that he had written about a deaf girl with a speech impediment about two years after he met her! The similarities between Ann and the book's main character are striking and there's no doubt that he must have been thinking of her at least a little when he wrote it. She must have inspired it in some way, even if she just planted the idea in his mind!

And, as long as I'm name dropping on my sister's behalf, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention her friend, Dave Daegling, appearing in a repeat of National Geographic's Behind the Mysteries: Bigfoot on that channel this past week. She couldn't believe how he had cleaned up, she just kept laughing c'os I guess he was sort of grungy when he'd talk with her at the Dog Park. They had him playing the role of the skeptic and one couldn't hardly guess he was a fanatic (he and his wife went on a Bigfoot retreat at least once and, I think, for their honeymoon!). Skepticism is a good thing in healthy amounts, as my parapsychology teacher, Dr. Andrew Nichols, taught us!

This gets my sister's endorsment for being 100% accurate. Hm.

What Flavour Are You? Mmm, I am Lemon Flavoured.Mmm, I am Lemon Flavoured.

I am bitter and twisted. Expect from me acerbic humour and sharp commentary. While I may seem nasty at first, I'm actually quite good company if I like you, so long as you don't mind a bit of cutting to the chase. What Flavour Are You?
