Oh! Microsoft is teh suck!

I hate Microsoft with an epic fiery vengeance. Seriously, wars were started for less. I guess it's just silly, naive little me, thinking I can just play any game willy-nilly released for the console I own, in this case the Xbox 360. Alas! The new Star Wars Lego II actually requires an UPDATE, like the patches PC games require, which they just assume I'm gonna download through Xbox Live. Well, I hooked it up with much struggle and ado and the download messed up! Now it freezes during the load menu when my account window tries to pop up and tell me what's wrong! To add injury to insult, I dropped the extremely heavy 'Box on my big toe, cleaving my toenail in two down the middle and generally hurting like hell.

If I wanted Xbox Live wouldn't I have just, you know, gotten it? They presume too much, especially seeing as I went on to the official site to order the free download disc and got a notice that it was backordered, so they've obviously had more of a rush for the offline-friendly services than they'd expected. Were they trying to force people into signing up? Why didn't the game just come with the update it needed? And, most importantly, I bought a FUCKING CONSOLE SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO PLAY ONLINE!

Fuck.

Oh, and I apologize greatly to those waiting on e-mails from me! I've been kinda wonky lately but I'm hoping to get back on track soon! (And I know you've heard that before, but it's gotta happen eventually, right? ;-))
