Fun with fandom!

Fandom question meme-type thingie that's been going around my flist, fandoms as suggested to
lastwordslinger:
The Mighty Boosh:
01. The first character I fell in love with: Vince. Without contest.
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Fossil. Honestly? He kinda just annoyed me at first, but now he makes me tinkle my pants!
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Hm, how about Montgomery Flange? Really a case of the Noel fans claiming something is far more brilliant than it is just because it's him. He gets on my nerves.
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Crack Fox? Most people seem to be pretty uncomfortable with that, and I think he's hilarious! And, from the live shows, Sunflash. I get it, Future Sailors was not as funny as their first live tour; I'd be the first to admit that some of it is so thunderingly unfunny, it's depressing. But in their haste to hate on any new Boosh, people knock Sunflash, and... it's just hilarious to me. One of my absolute favorite Noel characters!
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: The Moon, maybe. I don't hate it, still think it's funny just... not as much as I used to. Again, I think it's another case of the Noel fans claiming he's the only funny thing about Boosh and overestimating all of his characters.
06. The character I would shag anytime: Vince! And Howard!
07. The character I'd want to be like: Ultra and Neon, the Electro girls!
08. The character I'd slap: Fossil. Wouldn't everyone? LOL!
09. A pairing that I love: Vince/Bouncy Castle girl!
10. A pairing that I hate: Really, anything anyone takes seriously.
11. My five favorite characters: Vince, Howard, Saboo, Naboo, Sunflash
12. My five least favorite characters: Sammy the Crab, Montgomery Flange, Old Gregg (I find him genuinely vile, which I know is the point but... ew!), Milky Joe and... can't think of anyone else.
13. Which character I am most like: Equal doses of Vince and Howard probably!
14. My deep, dark fandom secret: I didn't like Barratt to begin with; thought he was a bit of a stuck up ball bag, quite honestly! But then I got into fandom and saw how sweet and hilarious and withdrawn he was and I warmed, and that warmth turned to love. Now I want to be in Barratt's barrow!
Inglourious Basterds:
01. The first character I fell in love with: Shoshanna
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Donny Donowitz, because of the hurdle of it being Eli Roth, but... love!
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Von Hammersmark. I wanted to love her because she;s the other female lead and I love Diane Kruger, but... she's just too glib, I just don't like her. I'm not crazy about how much love Colonel Landa gets either, that's just... creepy. He's scary, keep it at that.
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: I've seen some nasty things said of Shoshanna which just dumbfounds me!
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: I liked Von Hammersmark for about a minute and a half. See: above.
06. The character I would shag anytime: Any of the Basterds! Particularly Stiglitz or Aldo, though!
07. The character I'd want to be like: Shoshanna! She's so beautiful and brave and vengeful!
08. The character I'd slap: Zoller. Ew.
09. A pairing that I love: Shoshanna/Donny (damn you,
lastwordslinger!), Stiglitz/me! xP
10. A pairing that I hate: Landa/Shoshanna. Again, ew.
11. My five favorite characters: Aldo, Donny, Stiglitz, Shoshanna, Archie Hicox, Butz
12. My five least favorite characters: Von Hammersmark, Landa, Zoller, Hitler (duh! Though his thing about the Golem makes me laugh and laugh because it's the only movie to make him as much of a lunatic as he was), Goebbels (duh again!)
13. Which character I am most like: Shoshanna, I hope. I wish!
14. My deep, dark fandom secret: I was too much of a pussy to see it in theaters; I was scared of a repeat of my Grindhouse fainting incident. Turned out it actually wasn't as ggraphic as I'd expected it to be. Egg and my face were in proximity.
Marvel Comics:
01. The first character I fell in love with: Rogue. Tortured teenage outsider, bad family life, awesome boyfriend. Was she geared directly at me?!
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Emma Frost! Seriously, I actually swore that it would never happen and Joss Whedon managed to change my mind!
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Mary Jane Watson-Parker. Bleh, give me Gwen any day!
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: I don't quite understand why it is, but it is a fact that fans dislike any female Daredevil character who isn't Natasha or Elektra, so Echo gets knocked more than she should, especially considering that her storyline, Vision Quest, is one of the most unique and beautiful comics ever.
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Jean Grey. I used to be her number one fan; now I just keep hoping she'll stay dead this time!
06. The character I would shag anytime: Tony Stark. For serious! Matt Murdock, 1602 universe--oh yeah!
07. The character I'd want to be like: Elektra Natchios
08. The character I'd slap: Norman Osbourn
09. A pairing that I love: Johnny Blaze/Karen Page
10. A pairing that I hate: Any silly slash pairing, like Matt/Foggy or Tony/Rhodey, which are admittedly not even canon so...
11. My five favorite characters: Rogue, Matt Murdock, Frank Castle, Emma Frost, Elektra
12. My five least favorite characters: I thought it'd be really hard to narrow this down, but no one's actually coming to mind except, like, Norman Osborn. I mean, there are villains I dislike but that's in the villain-y way. I'm sure I'll think of others once I post.
13. Which character I am most like: Joan the Mouse, from Punisher
14. My deep, dark fandom secret: My brother is my fandom encyclopedia; anything I don't know, I ask him and get the skinny on it, which is maybe about 70% of everything Marvel!
I want to do Marvel comics movies when I get the chance, but was kind of excited to do the comics first since I usually don't talk that much about them!
Peace, Ghani
