Okay, because I really liked this question but didn't have time to fill out the full5-4-5:

2.) Quote from "The Benders": "Sam? Two beers and he's doing karaoke." What song do you think Sam was singing?

"All Out of Love" Because it just has to be Air Supply. Just suits Sam. Followed by a drunken, "I love you, man."

Hm, you know, I'm almost dreading tomorrow coming, because it's going to be another day the check doesn't come (two weeks since we sent the contract overnight; the check was supposed to be 'on receipt of signed contract') and it's just so fucking nerve wracking. The contract took three weeks to come, and I have this awful sinking feeling that the check might take that long as well; when it didn't come that first weeks, I just felt like, 'Oh, this isn't going to be easy on us, is it?' (When I find something that is, I'll letcha know ;-P)

Ah, well. My book progresses slowly but surely and that Tarot reader told me it was all fame and fortune for me (specifically in print). Actually, she also said it was the most unusual reading she's had in a long time if not ever, and some of the things were so specific it was eerie. If the book ever gets finished, that's cause enough for me to celebrate right there! ;-P

1. What do you do?

Write, hopefully professionally someday.

2. What makes you pay attention?

Pretty boys. Shiny objects. A good story.

3. What's your inspiration?

Bwahahah, mostly my sex drive. And, totally seperately, my sister.

4. Do you believe in magic?

Ooh, that's a difficult one because what does one mean by magic? Much of faith is magic, praying and whatnot, and I do have my own beliefs. I do believe strongly in the power of belief, whether or not that's supernatural, you can decide.

5. What is your favorite subject to write about?

Um, magic! Bwahahaha. And sex. Sex and magic.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] jadeblood for finding this, [livejournal.com profile] spn_fridayfive:

1. Why do you think the gate to hell was shut with an intricate lock/key combo as opposed to being sealed completely with no way of opening the gate at all?

I imagined the gate to hell was rather a natural thing, kind of like Buffy's Hellmouth, and that there was no real way to seal it as such, just lock it up with all the magics that Samuel Colt knew. Like the little boy who put his finger in the dike, so to speak, it seems like it was a bit of a pointless exercise but I guess it did work for a time.

2. How well are you able to relate to the characters in Supernatural? If you can't relate to any of the characters, have they ever reminded you of anyone you know? If so, which characters, and with whom did you associate them?

I identify with both the brothers extremely strongly, especially Sam, whom might actually exemplify a lot of my negative qualities, or those I perceive to be.

Dean reminds me a LOT of my sister, with the longish blond buzzcut, love of classic and hairband hard rock and metal, and her love of promiscuity.

3. Which sidecharacter would you not mind going on a roadtrip with?

Ash would be so totally cool; Dr. Badass indeed! And I'll pick Jo too because I really do always feel the most comfortable around girls my own age; it's easier to talk with them and relate.

4. Why do you think Bobby got into hunting demons? Could he have lost a loved one like John did, or could it be for another reason?

I think Bobby's probably ex-military, and he's just sort of shifted that mentality towards hunting. Might have come across some sort of phenomenon that made him believe, maybe even in his years of service, and he just sort of had at it. He's a very practical sort.

5. If you had to go on a hunt, which supernatural creature would you rather hunt?

Heh, trickster would be fun, but I have to admit that a good ghost story is always the most interesting to me, so ghosts, definitely. There's so many different things and people ghosts can be; you could hunt ghosts for a year and never come across the same story twice because angry spirits have their unique situations. Witches are my favorite supernatural creatures but I wouldn't want to hunt them, I'd want to join them! An incubus would be interesting, heh.
