2.) Quote from "The Benders": "Sam? Two beers and he's doing karaoke." What song do you think Sam was singing?
"All Out of Love" Because it just has to be Air Supply. Just suits Sam. Followed by a drunken, "I love you, man."
Hm, you know, I'm almost dreading tomorrow coming, because it's going to be another day the check doesn't come (two weeks since we sent the contract overnight; the check was supposed to be 'on receipt of signed contract') and it's just so fucking nerve wracking. The contract took three weeks to come, and I have this awful sinking feeling that the check might take that long as well; when it didn't come that first weeks, I just felt like, 'Oh, this isn't going to be easy on us, is it?' (When I find something that is, I'll letcha know ;-P)
Ah, well. My book progresses slowly but surely and that Tarot reader told me it was all fame and fortune for me (specifically in print). Actually, she also said it was the most unusual reading she's had in a long time if not ever, and some of the things were so specific it was eerie. If the book ever gets finished, that's cause enough for me to celebrate right there! ;-P
Peace, Ghani
