"As far Moses on Mount Sinai is concerned, it was either a supernatural cosmic event, which I don't believe, or a legend, which I don't believe either, or finally, and this is very probable, an event that joined Moses and the people of Israel under the effect of narcotics," Shanon told Israeli public radio on Tuesday.

LOL! So... they were all tripping out and just believed it was God? Were they also tripping when the Red Sea parted so they could escape the Pharaoh? My problem with that is usually folks on drugs believe what they want to believe, and at the time, the Israelites were leaning toward other deities because they'd grown tired of waiting on God. So why wouldn't they just keep doing that with even more zeal if drugs were a factor? Maybe my logic is flawed, but that's just how I see it. :p

Until they get Moses to pee in a cup, I'll stick with the Biblical account, thanks. :)
