Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fic-favorites you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.

The Nightjar, Hornblower. I debated whether or not I should do my Hornblower porn as a separate entity, just because it does seem to have a life of its own and was written a kind of in this odd but delightful microcosm. But, in the end, these stories, some of my best in my opinion, deserve to stand right alongside my none sex stories, if only just for the complex and Gothic stories I gleefully contrived. This one was a Halloween challenge, which I've done, I believe, every year save for this one for HHafterHours, and it turned out to be just such a delight to unveil each new surprise to my readers. No one saw the Hornblower meets Frankenstein ending coming either, hee!

RESTLESS, Doctor Who. A work-in-progress which I felt should be included nonetheless because I will finish it someday and it really is some of my favorite writing, especially the zombie bits. And it includes some of my favorite OCs, Valentine and Fuchsia. Plus, writing Captain Jack is so much damned fun, especially throwing in a bit of his more serious side (this was started pre-Torchwood, I'll have you know, and still deals with Jack angst!)

Mysterious Planet, Star Wars. A cute little piece I wrote for a Halloween challenge on a now defunct fansite I was a mod on. It was just a lot of fun, thinking of ways to incorporate vampire lore and the different roles the characters would take. Was meant to tie into my massive fic undertaking, "Knight of a New Republic," and I have a ton of that written in longhand in a bunch of very unorganized notebooks but never got to typing it out. So, there ya go, here's a little peak into my very own post-RotJ world.

Season of the Witch, Ghost Rider. Again, a work-in-progress but too damned fun to overlook. And seeing as I am determined to finish it, albeit slightly more slowly than anticipated. I feel I really get the atmosphere right, it's some of my favorite description and scene setting that I've woven. And I unabashedly love my OCs.

The Pirate's Daughter, Hornblower. The one, the only, the phenomenon that made me infamous in certain circles back in the day, and still lends itself to my nickname. The beginning of Troy's joyful romps in which she attempts to bed absolutely every viable male Hornblower character (and some who aren't but others' standards! ;-P) Whenever I can create something that stick with people, and sticks to me, for so many years afterward, I know I did something right! Includes the non-slashiest Horatio and Archie involved threesome ever, a feat in of itself!

Yeah, I admit it, I like talking about my writing. I get shy about it, but once you get me going, well, I'm incorrigible, honestly. It's the one thing I'm truly ever completely confident about, even if I suffer from a bit of the nerves when I'm first posting.

Peace, Ghani
