From TheRaider.Net:

"While promoting Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Shia LaBeouf mentions in a video interview with BBC News that a sequel to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is moving forward.

"Steven [Spielberg] just said that he cracked the story on it before I left and I think they're gearing that up," LaBeouf said.

Last summer's Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was made for about $185 million and earned $786.6 million worldwide. It was the second-highest earner of 2008, behind just The Dark Knight."

No talk whether or not Harrison will be involved. I know there's a lot of bitching about KotCS (and if you didn't like it, live and let live, I always say! I also always say that I'll never recommend a movie to anyone again because my tastes seem to be... different.) but it was my second favorite Indy movie and I adore the character of Mutt, so this is extremely good news to me! So, hurrah!

Peace, Ghani

Yeah, Temple of Doom was really ridiculous, and KOTCS was nowhere near that bad! Of course, I still went, "he survived an atomic blast... in a FRIDGE? I know he's Indy and everything, but whoa." Hehehehe!

I kinda wanted to see her melt a la Toht.

I KNOW! What happened to the violence!? No one melted or got their heart ripped out or became a super-fast skeleton or anything! I miss the over-the-top deaths, I really do. Scarred for life? Maybe. Entertained? That, too. ;)

Well, at least Irina's eyes burst into flames, there's just not enough of it, dammit! I like her as a villain so much, I wanted to see something really gruesome! "Oh, I believe, sister. That's why I'm standing back here," indeed!

Mehehe, that said, you know, I had never watched the ends of either Raiders or LC (or ToD at all!) until I was in my late teens. I'm a horror hound now so it's hard to imagine but I was super sensitive as a kid and my parents always had me cover my eyes. And then I didn't have the courage to watch them myself for years, lol!

I was the same way when I was a kid! Part of me wanted to watch the scary stuff when I was little, but it always affected me to the extreme. It wasn't until I got to be about thirteen that I started going after every scary thing and was able to handle it. Those were the days... When I saw so many things for the first time, and it was all so new! :D
