Okay, I find myself getting ridiculously excited about this even though it's been a long time since I really, really loved a Burton movie. this one just looks so awesome, and it's Alice!

THEY SHOWED THE WHITE RABBIT TAPPING HIS LIL WATCH! I am such a psycho about him, LOL! Johnny Depp... sounds like a British Willy Wonka in this, but I am holding out hope that there will be more differences between the Hatter and Wonka than appearance alone. I'm not holding my breath for this one to blow me away or anything, but I admit to feeling a squee bubble up while I watched that. HEE!

Ha! I almost burst out laughing when it said his name and no one else's! What, he's playing Alice now? I mean, I know she's an unknown but, c'mon, she is the title character and the Mad Hatter is, well, periphery. Though I get the feeling he's not in this so, hm. Let's say I'm being very, very cautiously optimistic.

If there was ever a guy to do Alice, it's Tim Burton.

The only movie of his that I really liked a lot was Ed Wood, but it's in my beloved Top 10. I saw it twice in the theatres, which is saying something because I think it must have only been out for 27 hours or something like that. :)
