Another downer post--warnings for depressive ramblings

It's kind of just been one ridiculously bad day after another lately: today and I woke up and the side completely snapped off my glasses. We don't have the money for a replacement pair and my spare pair was ruined when my sister's dog dragged me into a brick wall (they're spectacularly mangled! I kept them, just to show people!) I threw up last night and was kept awake from some horrendous gas pains. My period continues like I'm hemorrhaging internally. Thursday is my sister's 40th birthday and I really wanted all of this bullshit out of the way before then, so I could be festive and happy for her. But of course there's a frustration to being a stupid, fucking agoraphobe, and broke, and trying to plan a nice birthday party; I'm a bit limited.

I've been having some gastrointestinal distress myself, but I think it's due to Prozac withdrawal -- I ran out, and the bureaucracy that supplies my meds, slow to begin with, was slower than usual because of overhauls caused by state budget cuts.

Yep, the best way to balance the budget is to cut services to the poor and needy. That's just SO much better and fairer than raising taxes on the filthy stinking rich, which I daresay there are more of per capita in California than in any other state. Thanks Ahnuld. I like your movies but you suck as guv.

Anyway...sorry to whine at you when you're going through so much shit yourself. Hugs again, and early birthday wishes to Ann. By the way, our sisters are almost the same age -- mine is 40, and will turn 41 in December.
