FIRST: If you've been tagged, you must write your answers in your own LJ and replace any question that you dislike with a new, original question.
SECOND: Tag eight sexy people. Don't refuse to do that like a pansy. Unless you really don't want to of course. And if you're not tagged and you want to do it, then do!

Favorite song right now?:
"Slow me down" by Emmy Rossum though there's been an endless parade of Christmas favorites in my CD player lately as well, including The Pretenders' "2,000 Miles" one of my all-time favorite Christmas pop songs and "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses
Last album you bought/downloaded?:
"Midwinter Graces" by Tori Amos
Last movie you watched? Did you like it?:
Star Trek! I did like it--like, not love. Which I realize I'm in the vast minority for and I really don't fault anyone for loving it, I just didn't get that into it. Except for the awesomeness that was the cast. Eric Bana needed more. As my sister said, the bad guys should get all the good lines! Nero could have been another Khan, alas!
Three things that are super-annoying at the moment?:
- Insomnia
- The manners, or lack thereof, of Christmas shoppers
- Car troubles
If you had to spend time in prison for any crime, what would it be?:
Mehehehehehehehehehehe... I think that's answer enough! Alas, I think it'd be more along the lines of aggravated assault in real life than anything or an indecent nature...
What's really scary?:
Loneliness
Name two items nearest to you:
12"-scale Princess Leia on her speeder bike. My DVD sets of the complete run of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Top five words/phrases you use?:
- Seriously?
- Jackass
- Stick my foot up his ass
- I'm Old Gregg!
- Being such a butt!
Two things you're excited for this year?:
Final season of LOST! The Mighty Boosh movie!
Your favorite ice cream flavor?:
Candy cane.
I have no guilt, or shame for that matter; anyone who knows me can tell you that! xD so the answer to the second is Star Wars; I came out of the womb making laser shooting sounds!
The most played song on your iTunes?:
*Feels positively neolithic!*
If you could rescue any animal, what would it be and would you keep it?:
Kitties, and yes I would! We have so many abandoned cats around here, I know just where I'd start, too!
Worst movie you've ever seen?:
House of the Dead no competition. You may think you've seen bad, but you've never seen bad until you've seen Uwe Boll. Seriously. And don't think it's, like, Ed Wood bad because it's just bad-bad!
Best way to relax?:
Daydream while watching TV.
Favorite quote/lyric?:
"With Athena, you have to push, too." From a moral story my mother told me when I was little, and one she was told when she was little by her father, about a stubborn old man whose donkey falls into a ditch by the side of the road. He begins to pray to the goddess Athena to set her free and a passing merchant tells him the above. My mom always thought more people could stand to remember that lesson.
Are there any bits of childhood that you miss?:
Summers in the pool with my friends. A particular friend I haven't seen in many, many years. Being able to take my parents for granted.
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter?:
Autumn. I just come alive when the air starts to get that sharp little chill to it. That said, we don't get much of one down here in Florida and, even after living here half my life, I just can't get used to that. I love winter as well, I love the snow, but winter is rather like fall down here, sighs.
Say something to the person who tagged you:
Psh, what is there to say? You know how awesome you are!
And I'm being a pansy and refusing; I like to think of it more as rebelling! I'm an anarchist, you hear that, meme? I don't play by your rules!
Anyhoo, new layout times as well! Yay! Thank you

on 2009-12-02 07:01 am (UTC)Last album you bought/downloaded?: Oh man, I have no idea. I think it was your "Halloween Hootenanny." :D
Last movie you watched? The original "The Haunting." It's terrifying in all the right ways. The remake was a travesty.

- Someone at work.
- Another person at work.
- A family member.
I dare not get more specific than that. I just dare not.

Going to London sometime in 2010.
Your favorite ice cream flavor?:
Cake batter.
Guiltiest pleasure?: Lost fandom
The most played song on your iTunes?: I don't do iTunes.
If you could rescue any animal, what would it be and would you keep it?:
A dog. If I rescued it now, I would not keep it, because my dog is not good with other animals. I would find a good home for it, though.

on 2009-12-02 06:01 pm (UTC)Mmmmm, cake batter ice cream! I don't usually watch movies I hate all the way through either. There was just something about House of the Dead--I'd liken it to a the proverbial train wreck, but that's so over done. I do think I watched it for the same reason people can watch, I dunno, autopsies: it's revolting, there's nothing redeeming and yet human nature won't let you turn away.
How your mind can make things worse than they really are. It can really ruin your life.
Indeed. :-(
Hm, kind of felt that way about The Haunting remake as well... Saw that in the theater. There was $8 wasted! :-P
