Movie meme from [livejournal.com profile] dreamybritactor

1. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times.

Erm, just one? And only 10 times? Amateurs. The Empire Strikes Back is in the 100s by now!

2. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in the theater.

Again, only one? Um, how about Beauty and the Beast.

3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie.

I used to say Russell Crowe but he hasn't really done anything in a while that I'd be inclined to see, so... Maybe Christian Bale. I think definitely Aaron Eckhart. Famke Janssen. Nicolas Cage. More than one but there you go.

4. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie.

Ryan Phillipe.

5. Name a movie that you can and do quote from.

Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story

6. Name a movie musical that you know all of the lyrics to all of the songs.

Newsies

7. Name a movie that have been known to sing along with.

Phantom of the Opera, and quite badly at that.

8. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see.

Oh, I dunno, I have such, erm, unique tastes I usually end up trying not to recommend things because they don't appeal to others. That said, the one movie I think no modern movie fan should go wothout seeing is Adaptation.

9. Name a movie that you own.

Ha! One?! How about the first one I see when I look on the shelf: Shaun of the Dead.

10. Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops.

Mark and Donny Wahlberg. Seriously, those guys are two freakin' excellent actors, singers first or not!

11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in? If so, what?

Never did.

12. Ever made out in a movie?

Nope.

13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't yet gotten around to it.

V for Vendetta

14. Ever walked out of a movie?

A-yup.

15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theater.

Titanic

16. Popcorn?

Only very occasionally.

17. How often do go to the movies (as opposed to renting them or watching them at home)?

Probably once every couple of months, which ain't bad for a shut-in!

18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater?

Ghost Rider

19. What's your favorite/preferred genre of movie?

Sci-Fi/Fantasy

20. What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?

The Empire Strikes Back

21. What movie do you wish you had never seen?

An American Haunting

22. What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?

Weird is very subjective, LOL! Erm, Bubba Ho-tep seems like a good choice.

23. What is the scariest movie you've seen?

I dunno, I've seen a lot! The original Night of the Living Dead ranks up there. Hellraiser's a good one too.

24. What is the funniest movie you've seen?

Raising Arizona

I concur. It was incredibly bad. And I'd had such high hopes for it.

You know, with the cast and all, and the commercials made it look fantastic! I know the story, and the revelation at the end is not only riddled with holes, which I'm not even going to get into at the moment, but it's kinda offensive to the real life people, you know? It's not like Butch Defeo, where we know what he did; these were pretty much innocent people and I know the lack of information on what really occured must be frustrating but c'mon!

Anyhoo, that's my rant, heh.

Big huggles!

Bigger huggles back!

The filmmakers probably thought that they were doing a clever and unique take on the story of the Bell witch. If so, they hit very wide of the mark.

I have to wonder why Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek signed on to this turkey. Did they each owe someone a favor, or perhaps lose a bet?
